Legal
Acceptable use policy
This policy applies to every service we operate and to everything hosted on it — including content and users your own clients bring, if you resell. Short version: run your business, don't harm anyone else's.
1. Prohibited content
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance. Discovery leads to immediate termination without notice and a report to the competent authorities.
- Malware and attack tooling — hosting, distributing or commanding malware, botnets, exploit kits or credential-stuffing infrastructure.
- Phishing and fraud — pages or mail flows that impersonate others to harvest credentials, payments or identities.
- Copyright and trademark infringement — pirated software, media or other content you have no right to distribute. Substantiated notices are actioned promptly.
- Content whose hosting or distribution is otherwise illegal under the laws of the Republic of Türkiye or the customer's own jurisdiction.
2. Prohibited behavior
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam), running purchased or scraped mailing lists, or forging mail headers.
- Attacking third parties: DDoS, port scanning, brute-force attempts, vulnerability scanning without written authorization.
- Attempting to breach, probe or circumvent the isolation of other accounts on the platform.
- Cryptocurrency mining and similar sustained full-load workloads on shared, WordPress and reseller plans.
3. Fair use of shared resources
Shared, WordPress and reseller plans are governed by their published resource specifications (CPU, memory, storage). Sustained workloads that degrade the platform for neighbors — regardless of plan limits — may be throttled first and discussed second. Long-running background processes belong on a managed cloud server or cloud server, and we'll help you move them there.
4. Mail sending limits
Outbound mail on shared and reseller plans is capped at200 messages per hour per account to protect the platform's sender reputation. Legitimate senders who need more should use a transactional mail service or talk to us about the right setup — higher limits without deliverability discipline hurt everyone, you included.
5. Enforcement
- Our default is human first: for most violations we contact you and set a deadline to remedy.
- Where the platform, other customers or third parties are at active risk — or the law requires it — we suspend first and notify after.
- Repeat or egregious violations lead to termination under the Terms of Service.
6. Reporting abuse
To report abuse originating from our network, write toinfo@osdocloud.com with the subject "Abuse report" — include URLs, timestamps, relevant log lines and a way to reach you. Reports are read by the osdo crew, not a queue-bot, and acted on around the clock.
